“America: Beautiful or “Never, Never Land”

Posted on Updated on

QUESTION:  What has been most devastating to American families, our Republic Society, our Middle Class and our national financial stability?  ANSWER:  Our wars from 1776—2010, Our ever increasing Corporate Greed and Our Politicians corrupted by financial contributions from BIG Business.  To create “Change We Can Believe In” that will actually correct our course away from War, Corporate Greed and a bought and paid for Government, we need a seismic shift in our way of doing business.  It’s not easy, but it is simple:  An educated voter rejecting the status quo Conservative proclamation of “America the Beautiful” as “The Land of the Free.”  Intelligent people have been duped by politicians trying to protect their Cooperate puppeteers.  It’s all in the marketing.  It’s protective PR.  It’s “Showtime.”  While we’ve been rushed to judgment by media coverage regurgitating religious like belief in the perfection of all things America – The Greatest This, The Biggest That, The Best Whatever.  In the shadows where the puppeteers operate, we have been transformed into the land of screaming pundits, with societal fractions fighting a class war.  While our youth have been used in an Oil War as “cannon fodder, “We the People” have been cast in the role of minions doing the bidding of overlords.  CALL TO ACTION:  Don’t despair, for we outnumber the men to whom even Dick Cheney must genuflect.  All we need is a little “Unity of Purpose,” a pause in the street-unwise partisan hype and a bit of historical education.

ONE:  A seismic change in our priorities & focus can result from any number of people acting out, “Enough.”  Think back to the late 70’s/early 80’s when the Beef Industry suddenly raised the price of beef all across America.  Clearly the corporate fix was in.  It took a President to shame the Steel industry into reversing such betrayal of the American public, but the cow people’s greedy plot was branded Halt, by women all over America, who without emails or a movement, bought fish and chicken instead.  The Corporate cowboys got the message, loud and clear:  Don’t mess with American Food Shoppers, unless you put a Texas cowboy in the White House first.  Nonetheless, American Citizens had stopped the onslaught of beefer greed.  So “Yes We Can.”

TWO:  Identify the true enemies of American Freedom and the best method to eradicate them.  Yes Al-Qaeda and Osama bin-Laden are a serious threat to us, but so are American based International Corporations & their political puppets.  Sipping tea & Southern Comfort in their granite monuments to themselves, they look down on us from on high, as ants fighting among themselves.  On the inside looking out, a smile of delight and then a grin reflect from within their sheer delight at our plight; so well misdirected on their behalf, in fear and anger at each other.  The “Enemy of the State are the “money changers” dwellers in the shadows towering above.  Like Brando’s character in the 1980 film, “The Formula” said, “We are the Arabs.”  Ignored until we elect a Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy or Barrack, they then hasten to tighten their money strings on political puppets to keep us in line with manipulated media.

THREE:  Gather in ever increasing union, outside any Corporate headquarters near you:  BANKS, Pharmaceuticals, Health Insurers and Oil Companies.  Even standing silently with tie-shirts and signs that let them see from their smoked mirrored Board Room windows,  “We’ve found you;”  “We know who you are;”  “You are no longer safe;”  “You can’t hide anymore;”  “We See You!”  Following the example of the women who rolled back beef prices, collectively we can be giants like Gandhi and King.  Although, the corporate villains of United Health Group, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, AETNA, CITI, PFIZER, CIGNA, PNC, Abbott Labs, Wellpoint, Wells Fargo, and MERCK have numbers of dollar bills, “We the People” are the numbers that count in Census, in Votes, and in sit/stand-ins.  Even good men like President Obama need our help to surround themselves with the advice and input of honorable citizens, for there is little honor in Congressional Conservatives, The Supreme Court, Henry M. Paulson, Jr., Alan Greenspan, and possibly even Timothy F. Geithner.  All Presidents need our help to keep them on the honorable path of maintaining a healthy Democracy in our Republic.
