Post Trump’s COVID-19 Deaths, What’s Next for We the Left Behind – OpEdNews.com Headline

Posted on Updated on

To understand America’s 2020 Trump infestation, we’ll need to gulp down more than a few mugs of, the truth hurts, to help the long overdue medicine of humble pie go down, before We the People become just another one of  Trump’s many bankruptcies.

With 8.65 Million COVID-19 cases obliterating our short-term memory of more mass shootings than there were days in 2019 (without much presidential empathy expressed); with more than 54 million Americans voting before Election Day, in the midst of a reinvigorated coronavirus surge,   while a sitting VP cavalierly ignores his potential for spreading a deadly pandemic as tranquillizingly as his religious hypocrisy – was the fly the mollified undecided?

The silver lining for all, Love it or Leave It Americans committed to a raison d’etre that can fit on a red baseball cap, can beat their anti-Pride chests while simmering pandemic threatened blood transfusions to keep alive historic Government subsidizing traditions:

  • Human slavery – the immoral economic infrastructure south of the Mason-Dixon line, now reinforcing food insecurity through minimum wage
  • Factory Farms – while responsible for nearly 91% of the destruction of the Amazon, and unlike family farms, producing animal products that are hazardous to our health
  • Caged Refugees – In the past year, our ICE-cold government leaders have illegally held in custody enough migrant infants, toddlers, kids, and teens to overflow the typical NFL stadium: 69,550 – and now cannot reconnect 545 of them with their families

Here’s the hurry up and catch up while the muted obnoxious political commercial is on TV, version:  first – we need cloak our cluelessness to why Conservative Republicans worshiping at the altar of the 1% send other people’s children to war as much as possible, even as Trump tax cuts are another giftwrapped ATM machine for Corporatism – in a sort of, Waiting for Superman cape to set us free at last on the wings of, nothing but the truth of, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism – because, what we don’t know about (and why) our American History could easily transform America’s Main Street into a Wall Street induced Food Desert and Climate imposed homelessness.

It is not the first time America has been sharply divided over issues, nor terrified that our uncivil emotions could again drown the nation in brother against brother rivers of blood:  1776 American progressives vs. the British Crown and Americans loyal to it; 4/1861—4/1865 Civil War to preserve the union or, a peculiar institution.  Or our 1876 Centennial election, while sparing us another Civil War, essentially nullified Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, leaving former slaves vulnerable to former slave owners

It is, however, the first time our division has been systematically directed with the divisiveness of foreign comrades, derision of senate puppets and manic delusions of a sitting President of the United States of America.

Life is about making choices, of which, Freedom of Choice, and Free Will to reign over anyone who doesn’t look, think or vote as you, are two roads most travelled by.  Yet we have other choices to make, and do so, with every malice afore thought, kind gesture and life-determining action of every day.

Therefore, if we choose be something beyond cloning a trumped America seemingly determined to lead we, the other two-thirds, into an entanglement of, the arrogance of ignorance:  sharing in a virus dissipating throughout maskless masses, intent upon culling by COVID, we might just give Millennials a hair’s breadth of clean air chance to transform the life and earth, respectively Baby Boomers and Generation X’s Cold War wars, bequeath them – to, by example of Social Distancing, spare Generations Y1 & 2 – dealing Gen Z the dream hand of, natural causes, instead of nature’s Climate Change revenge.  Then Millennials can cross the barroom knowing they snatched the victory of research time from the jaws of food shortages and homelessness.

But when your best response to a global pandemic is attacking America’s First Amendment, ramming through Supreme Court nominees assuming the politicizing of the highest judicial check on your imbalance; then apathetically walking away from Americans scarred by loss of livelihood, peace of mind and human life, then you are indeed, the nightmare hauntingly gnawing away at the very soul of our American Dream – choosing to ignore the prediction of almost a quarter of a million deaths before 20 January 2021.

The question is, can a house divided against itself survive four more years of a Criminal-in-Chief?

The More Our Russian Asset Talks the Better No Malarkey Sounds – OpEdNews.com Headline & Best of TREMR

The most insulting thing about someone repeatedly lying to us is, our repeatedly believing the lies, makes us their tools.

The worst thing about embracing alternative facts is, they don’t compartmentalize easily.  They seep into and dilute our choices, dividing families, twisting life and death decisions into ill-conceived short-term livelihood v. lives self-centered group think.  Some see Satan-worshipers adding toppings of conspiratorial additives wetting insatiable appetites for the world’s greatest deceptions, while missing the cataclysmic waves of addiction that is our own devices.

But national and individual healing does not come by the slice.  We need our entire pie.  Begin by recognizing and admitting Russian assets Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani and their domestic terrorists allies are merely the surface proof of America’s divisive chasm.  What lies beneath is our choices reparation or dissolution.

We need to ask any civilian or military uniformed person we know, to what are they loyal, America’s Constitution and the freedoms it promises to all, regardless of color, race, religion, sexual preference or political persuasion, or to the purveyors and recipients of supreme dirty money, because when Donald Trump says we’ve got to open schools, he’s known how life-threatening COVID-19 is, long before 220,000 American deaths, and his maskless Rose Garden super spreader of this pandemic, to betray RBG.

Like Big Tobacco roles, Exxon shows, Deepwater Horizon Haliburton beaus, Red Ash Coal & Flint Water souls, just as Opioid hoes with marketing polls have profited off family woes, leaving us disposed to QAnon/Trump duos aligned with American democracy foes – Trump knew, and knows.

Financiers self-absorbed by systemic superiority insulate Trump enablers, like Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and Sen. David Perdue, allowing power-hungry Conservatives like Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell and Bill Barr to presume both sides of our national penny are tarnished green.

Assuming we are as cavalierly dismissive of American brown and black diversity as the thirteen trumped disciples now incarcerated for plotting to kidnap with intent to harm, two American Governors, they think us accessories.

They just can’t believe our courageously standing for hours, despite a pandemic, to express our Exceptionalism:  voting.

America has always had to struggle with those who believe oppressing brown, black and gay people is their legal inheritance.  Loathing others, while in hiding until a leader of infamy capable of conning a majority, increases one’s inability to distinguish between polished brass and the dawn’s early light.

Steeped in fantasies of superiority over others distorts one’s constitution, making the narrowminded prime prey for entering where life demands the price for patriotic hypocrisy:  discovering we hate our neighbors as we hate ourselves.

The wise, however, are humbled by this revelation:  Climate Change, Covid-19 and Donald Trump have accelerated our maturing as individuals, people and nation.  We are no longer invading European adventurers, but a diverse nation seeking truth, balance and love for all, increasingly rejecting foreign hackers and domestic terrorists from backtracking our evolutionary progression.

Only fifty-five years after the defeat of our self-severed southern segment, did the resurrection of its true cause celeb begin anew to white out, this land is your land, this land is my land, with monumental Roaring Twenties reconstruction tributes to defeated generals, slave owners and at least one brief, but former Dixie president, allowed to escape by an assassinated Yankee one.

Yet, before Armistice Day could become Veterans Day, united we stood with white men amended by whites only female voters, to defeat allies of Red White and Blue Republicans Charles Lindbergh, Allen and John Foster Dulles, Ford, GM and Dupont – still believing no matter whose bed we shared, we were ultimately entitled.  After all, hadn’t we, alone, made the world safe for democracy – everywhere but here at home?

While clearly Trump remains his own worst enemy, he is America’s as well.  An enemy I have feared, if defeated, would escape to Russia on one last free Air Force One ride.  This week our rogue president dropped the hint:  “could you imagine if I lose?” “I’m not going to feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country, I don’t know.”

After 1,383 days of Trump’s charades dishonoring America, Americans and our presidential institution, why have Democrats who march and stand united in sincere support of, Gender Equality, Black Lives Matter, Me Too and Never Again failed to win the trust of 18% of young Black men and Latinos for Trump?

Why have we lost them to a Robert Philip Hanssen hyperlink; a president who knowingly accepted  Russian disinformation, then, publicly, with malice aforethought, presented it as fact?

We need this conversation, not just for 2020, but to reconcile:  we aren’t united, free, or whole, until we recapture our American Dream, Rainbow and Dreamers, and together share justice and equality for all.
