I write to all Americans under fifty-years-old, pleading on behalf of all Americans under thirty-years-old who don’t know the trouble we, and they will see, if we fail to unite, to actually embody the truths we’ve claimed to be since Lincoln’s emancipating Gettysburg Address.
Current Financial Truths:
- Inflation at lowest point in 2 1/2 years
- Unemployment rate below 4% for longest time since 1960s
- American economy defies Recession predictions
Yet, with our post-Watergate loss of faith in government, most Americans are in voter accountability denial regarding the Governors, members of Congress and Presidents we elect.
We 2023 Americans need to recapture the best within us to alleviate both our inner turmoil, for reality check on our individual responsibility for it.
Perhaps President Kennedy’s physical, intellectual and political courage might inspire us: to thy own Constitution, be true.
- August 1943 – saving his crew after PT-109 was sunk by enemy destroyer.
- April 1961 – endured CIA betrayal
- October 1962 saving world from Cuban nuclear Missile Crisis despite General Curtis LeMay & others disobeying his orders
Joe Biden isn’t as youthful, witty or charismatic as our thirty-fifth, forty-six-year-old president, but despite being born with a stutter, the death of his first wife and daughter and the loss of his forty-six-year-old son Beau to Brain Cancer, our 46th president remains an intellectually savvy, emotionally calm and politicly steady negotiator with a respectful embrace of both Constitutional law and his Roman Catholic faith – in the face of America’s enemies within, and the foreign demagogues they choose to imitate. And, like Presidents Carter and Clinton, President Biden remains committed to a two-state solution in the Middle East.
In the 1860s, Lincoln was challenged to save America. In the 1960s, Kennedy was challenged to save the entire world – and both made the ultimate sacrifice to fulfill their oath to do so.
These presidents earned our respect, gratitude and Hail to the Chief.
In stark contrast, the 6 January 2021 domestic terrorism by gullible MAGA insurrectionists programmed to destroy American democracy, stains our American Dream with Right-Wing religious hypocrisy in a faux patriotic cesspool too akin to that of Ordinary Men who were willing to shoot German Jews, to camouflage their cowardice.
It is for honest, reasonable voting patriots to alleviate our inner turmoil by exorcising from our nation’s bowels any violent pretense of American patriotism.
Like President Kennedy, it could be said that America is in danger of receiving, the last rites, again– not because of the age of President Joe Biden, who clearly recognizes the humanitarian pragmatism of the world’s two most powerful economies and militaries needing to communicate, if not for world peace, at least for global co-existence.
Nonetheless, as Pennsylvania’s John Dickinson said, most men with nothing would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich than face the reality of being poor.
In other words: when easy access to guns is our default choice against real or imagined economic fear driven anger, America reaps the futility of divorcing, ask what you can do for your country, to wed itself to leaders who rant that we can gain the entire world without losing our national soul to self-destruction.
2023 third party candidates and non-voters are shoving American democracy under the boot of an Ol’ Time Religion demonically twisted by Corporatism’s bottom line and the corrupted political egos it rents.
On 11 October 1963, forty-two days before President Kennedy was shot to death in Dallas Texas, he wrote a National Security Action Memoranda number 263 (NSAM 263) titled, “South Vietnam” – stating his intention for a complete withdrawal of America’s 17,000 Advisors in South Vietnam.

Time is running out for American voters to keep an essential promise: unedited Education, unburned books and unlimited intellectual curiosity for the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Imagine, the oldest democracy in the world failing to rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, because the youngest voters among us betrayed the future of Americans younger than they.
Until Americans of every race, color, creed and age vote, there can be no thank God Almighty, we are free at last, Home of the Brave!
Until all Americans vote to preserve, protect and defend all of our history, healthcare needs and books, there will be no, Land of the Free.
Until legal voters, eighteen and older, actually vote, America’s next moment is not guaranteed.
There are many things in life we cannot change, but nothing we cannot change, if first, we reengage peace through civility and mutual respect.

Celebrating memories of the Greatest Generation and Silent Generation formulating Americans both through, the Great War and the Great Depression, lessons most didn’t learn until experiencing 21st century Food Deserts, over population or suddenly, violently rendered, parentless.
Legacies of America’s imbalanced balancing act between our presumptive domestic demands and shrinking global supply, however, didn’t make the cut when descendants of the Greatest & Silent Generations learned the wrong lessons: Father Knows Best, believing everything you read in the papers and sex exists for men and women only – to increase and multiply.
I’d like to believe we’ve matured beyond such POVs, but have we – not when continually celebrating myths, whitewashing memories and building patriotic psychology on the shallow graves of crooked contingencies.
Realizing post-Civil War generations were programmed with competing propaganda, we must confront the fallacy of personal historical comfort zones and unite to modernize our collective sense of balance between all life on earth, deviating from our home turf mirage.
Unlike our 19th & 20th century national roots, we must wake up and smell the coffee before all the beans leave our mornings, mourning over resume embellishing overcaffeinated politicians’ betraying the votes of, We the People for more cream and sugar.
Perhaps we need to emulate salesman Willy Loman less and imitate his wife Linda more, sharing her character’s raison dêtre: Attention must be paid.
Our 2023 gun-violence v. real (rather than self-righteous Pro-Life rhetoric deserting children after birth), love of life requiring an American legacy that both questions leaders we empower and why Pro-Life freedom is more freedom-worthy than the liberty of Pro Choice.
This Gauntlet is not just for MAGA Conservative Republicans and Evangelical Christians imposing their beliefs, some violently, against abortions, while turning the other cheek, away from, Aging Out. It’s those who profit from AR-15 sales, which in a trigger-happy moment exposes NRA’s mockery of Second Amendment militia.
Not all lies, violence and mayhem started with #45. Indeed, some financial institutions, Corporations and even some levels of government sensed the future predicting glow of ATMs long before 9/2/69 – with the 1870 dawn’s early light of the Second Industrial Revolution – arguably replacing Blue Collar workers unable to transform rapidly into White Collar positions, while producing more children to fill near slave positions for Corporate elites.
Thus, a post Lincoln America, full of self-importance damning international reality stumbled into WWI. Then Nazi emulators Dulles brothers twisted the Marshall Plan into the legacy of America’s, Military Industrial Complex.
Here’s where we started really ignoring ourselves to death: bystanders watching the earth being raped repeatedly for coal, oil and gas as if rehearsing 1945 Germans’ alibi, we didn’t know.
Celebrating being deaf, dumb and blind to the reality of 1/6th’s Congressional and judicial accomplices excuses the men behind the men who rent the men who shoot the guns to man-up our gun violence memories.
Into what legacy are MAGA MEGA donors remodeling GOP – and Why?
How are 35% of America’s civilians and military convinced that destroying American democracy is the only way to fulfill America’s Dream?

Who’s fueling funded increase to resurrect life seen on black and white TV reruns?
Why did, fake Trump Electors attempt to aid and abet the 2021 assassination of an American election, including America’s core value: Lady Liberty’s promise?
It isn’t just White-Collar Corporate Board members, White Supremacists, and Conservative Supremes of any color that need us to inject moral fiber, basic honesty and judicial prudence to recreate mindfulness of our Ellis Island legacy.
It’s the mesmerized masses, thinking themselves American Citizens, who have long abandoned the necessary character traits that parent such a claim: civic duty like voting, resurrected honor and rejuvenated justice for all in a color-blind country embracing the unity that delivered us through Valley Forge, Pearl Harbor, 9/11 and our current 6 January 2021 Fort Sumter inspiration.
Diversely united, we project America’s best hope by:
- Ignoring all repetitious media hyperbole
- Only voting for politicians with proven records for favoring saving planet earth from our over consumerism
- Using UBI to reduce the risk of A.I. transforming white collar employees into blue collar workers as Climate Change tempo literally gains ground while we’re still denying, some lives on earth are already losing the race, for all life on earth
- Rejecting the sins of the fathers imparted excesses claiming: We Built That; and eliminating habits which are destroying our Children’s Children’s’ habitat.
