Having knowledge of the History of one’s nation, its allies and adversaries can empower us against the consequences of consequential misjudgments whether increasing forest fires or multiple oil tragedies like, 1952’s Great Smog, killing thousands of Londoners in five days.
We take earth and our over consuming of it as our sacrosanct right as top of the food chain, akin to the supremacy of jurists tossing crumbs to minority voters while stripping Voting Rights Amendment and half of our 118 million acres of wetlands protections.
Little truth comes from political candidates, even less from elected politicians and non-existent from Corporate owned media and rented Justices gasping for worldly possessions while selling their souls to supreme delusions.
Because one third of voting Americans disbelieve the truth about Donald Trump and wish to reelect him POTUS, our ship of state is now listing too Far Right, almost swamped by waves of self-taught lies perpetrated by mega donors, using billons of Judas silver to transform our democracy into a maiden voyage of titanic proportions.
Buoyed by impeachments and indictments, America’s current greatest threat to democracy clings to the wheel of our Vessel-of-Choice, causing the erosion of our rudder by his corroding maze of deceptions:
- There are a lot of killers.
- You think our country’s so innocent?
- I did everything right!
- Using indictments to increase donations from the mesmerized chanting: four more years.
The greatest lies we tell are the lies we tell ourselves.
Ignoring the lessons in oil over production, in 1933 government and private capitalism formed a more equitable Middle East shell game: Saudis would scratch our corporatism’s back with black gold and America’s post-WWII Military Industrial Complex protects their back when, There Will Be Blood.
Corporate Boards at the pinnacle of economic gain, superficially Made in America patriots when profitable, consumed media and rented politicians to maintain, We the People as transfixed pawns in our robotic indoctrination lane.
Our overly trusting grandparents became Wall Street’s over consumers not just of products they insisted we couldn’t live without, but hypnotized conformity, allowing the hypnotists freedom to profit off 99.9% of Americans, while hording our, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we became their human ATM machines.
Settling for being brainwashed by the too big to jail crowd, is the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune we, as accomplices after the advertisements’ fantasies, Branding, and fabricated Holidays for Big Savings, we have accelerated our contribution to earth’s loss of resources.
Burying our awareness in devices, we aid and abet America’s disappearing shores, shrinking Florida and sinking Manhattan, quite literally from the weight of 0.1% greed. So, let’s reject further programming by those who profit from our misdirection; for example: death by lack of faith in scientific facts concerning Covid-19’s power.
Whether you believe Second Peter or James Baldwin, earth’s increasing forest fires are dangerous and their hazy and smog ridden air quality can kill.
For financial gain, we have been lied to by American Capitalists like Exxon, Philip Morris and Boards of Too Big to Fail financial institutions.
Now, because the lives of our grandchildren and the earth are slipping away from guaranteed survival, let’s try to fix what we’ve allowed to be broken.
Documentaries beat the A.I. of Sit-Coms with Free Will: eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we may die OR we save the planet for our grandchildren.
If we cannot save planet earth for our children, then what have we bequeath them:

Since President Roosevelt’s 1945 death freed the greed of household corporate names to launch their takeover of America, We the People have been sliding into the role of mindless, aimless spoon-fed misinformation, and now social media addiction. So, snap out of it!
Yes, some Trump voters thrive on reviving Jim Crow, second class citizenship for women and servitude for all non-white people. However, the far more dangerous Trump enablers, care less about who votes for or against Trump, than they do for controlling their investment in a presidential puppet.
All who desire the survival of our Constitution, the resurrection of, Lincoln’s American Dream of a Democratic Republic of all the people, by all the people and for all the people and the rejuvenation of our exceptional experiment in one person, one vote – need to act like it until the very end of our journey, by emulating Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and show up.
Face it, a lot of us long for the simplicity of the unhurried and neighborly lifestyle of our grandparents if only we didn’t need to give up gas guzzlers, one-nightstands and our cells to get it, but America’s life’s breath requires more than hugging the flag.
Beware, for all of the freedom of choice we’ve let slip away, there is more than enough dirty money to blind Conservatives in denial, to the inevitable loss of planet, because of our lack of stewardship and love thy neighbor as thyself.
